It just keeps raining down on me

Today started off as a pretty terrible day. I got up early (7am) to work on my Milton presentation that is due tomorrow and I was greeted with a "blue screen of death" on my computer. Luckily, it's worked OK since I restarted it, but I'm going to be careful with it for the next while regardless.

I struggled getting to work and didn't really get anything done until after noon. Which meant that I skipped sex studies today. Sonia said that I missed an interesting class, which is unfortunate, but I had to get the Milton thing done.

When I got to school around 3, I got a splitting headache and a super overwhelmed feeling and it really sucked. I called my mom and decided to tough it out and go to class with Advil in my system, and so I did that. Class was alright. It wasn't super interesting, but it managed to hold my attention, which is better than nothing.

It took over an hour to get home, though because of traffic and Keele. I keep forgetting to take the 106 instead of the 41.

But when I got home there was a really cute little girl in the elevator who was super excited about going to the basement. She honestly made my day. Then I got upstairs and Sarah and Mike dropped by to bring me the bagels that I asked Sarah to grab from work. That girl is amazing! The three of us chatted for a while before deciding that we all needed to get food, and so they headed downstairs to grab food and I set about making homemade chicken nuggets, which were delicious.

In the end, today turned out to be pretty great once I got past a terrible morning. I'm taking this as evidence of what happens when you look on the bright side of things.

On another note, I'm going to be incredibly busy for the rest of this month according to my schedule. I will make time for my friends though. And time for me, too. I need to be much better about that balancing thing. I have been, lately, but I'd like to keep it up. Wish me luck!!
